Who pays for the record?
In most cases the family owns the record and chooses the plan. Providers on Roots+ or Growth can be invited into any record without the family paying more, and organizations can sponsor records for the people they support.
Family-owned record
The family subscribes and invites clinicians, teachers and carers. The team members don't need their own subscription to contribute.
Provider on Roots+
A therapist or care manager subscribes once and joins many families' records, with billing and insights on every record they're granted.
Organization on Growth
The organization holds records for the people it supports, with families as owners or co-owners, under a BAA where required.
Pricing questions
What happens if I stop paying?
You keep read access to the whole record, forever, and you can export it at any time. You won't be able to add new entries or invite new people until you subscribe again.
Do the people I invite need to pay?
No. Team members invited to a record use it for free. Providers only need Roots+ or Growth if they want billing, insights and multi-record tools of their own.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, up or down, at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing date and nothing in the record is removed when you move down.
Is there a free trial?
Every new record starts with a 14-day trial of Roots+, so you can try insights and exports before choosing a plan.
Do you offer discounts?
Registered charities, schools and family-run care groups can contact us for reduced Growth pricing.
